My Journey
of Transformation

Hello, I’m Michael. There was a time when life felt steady. I lived with a quiet confidence in God’s presence, and my faith gave me a sense of clarity and peace.

But over the years, I began chasing certainty instead of trust. I built walls around my beliefs, defended them fiercely, and lost sight of love. Then came the storms—COVID, the war in Ukraine, betrayal, and fear, and my faith unraveled. Questions I once kept hidden rose to the surface, and I felt the weight of confusion pressing in.

Yet through suffering, I discovered something deeper. What I lost in rigid systems, I found again in God’s living presence, not as rules to guard, but as a relationship that meets us in life’s messiness. That rediscovery reshaped everything.

Today, I walk alongside others who are navigating their own transitions—whether in faith, life, or leadership—helping them rediscover peace, purpose, and freedom in God’s presence. If you’re in a season of upheaval or searching for clarity, I’d be honored to walk with you too.

My book offers companionship for those walking through doubt or loss–an invitation to practice God’s presence right where life finds you today.

The Way Forward:
Practicing God’s Presence

What I’ve learned is simple; real freedom begins when we practice God’s presence in the everyday moments of life. This practice opens space for love, grace, and transformation.

3 Key Pillars:

Inner Allignment

A movement of trust, listening, and wholeness. We begin by learning to live from the inside out — grounded in trust, attentive presence, honest self-awareness, and rest.

Outward Compassion

Seeing others through the eyes of Love. Inner alignment naturally turns outward — shaping how we see, honor, and respond to every person we encounter.

Courageous Participation

Stepping into the world with presence and purpose. This is where inner alignment and compassion take flesh — showing up, taking risks, and participating in healing where we are.

Let’s
Walk
Together

We don’t grow by walking alone. I will offer safe, sacred spaces where you can pause, reflect, and rediscover God’s presence in your own story. In our time together, I will listen deeply to your experiences, your longings, and the quiet movements of grace that often go unnoticed.

Through honest conversation and gentle guidance, I will help you find clarity in the midst of uncertainty and strength in the places that feel broken.  Together, we’ll discern what’s next, so you can move forward with peace, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.  You don’t have to find the way alone, your path is unfolding, and God is already walking with you.

Stories of Transformation

Michael created such a safe space of ease and reassured me I was not alone in my thoughts , questions or challenges. He is one of the best listeners I know and one of the most profound people I know. When he speaks, it’s few and far in between, but always with grace and wisdom. Michael is one of the only people I trust to fully share where I am at spiritually.

Frequently Asked Question

What is spiritual direction, and how is it different from counseling or coaching?

Spiritual direction creates space to listen for God’s presence in your life. Counseling often looks back to heal wounds, and coaching focuses on achieving goals. Spiritual direction is about discernment and trust — noticing where God is moving in your story and learning to align with it. I don’t give quick fixes; I walk alongside you as a companion on the journey.

Do I have to be religious or Christian to work with you?

Not at all. While my roots are in the Christian tradition, I walk with people from many different faith backgrounds — and also with those who feel disconnected from religion but long for meaning, purpose, or spiritual depth. What matters most is your openness, not your label.

What if I’ve been hurt by church or faith leaders — is this a safe space?

Yes. I know what it’s like to carry wounds from faith communities and leaders. This is a judgment-free space where you won’t be pressured into any belief or practice. Together, we’ll honor your story, your pace, and create room for healing and trust to unfold naturally.

How long does mentoring usually last?

It depends on your season of life. Some people meet with me for a few sessions during a time of transition; others continue for months or years as part of their ongoing journey. There’s no one-size-fits-all — we’ll discover the rhythm that serves you best.

What if I’m not ready for one-on-one mentoring?

That’s perfectly okay. You might begin with a retreat, a workshop, or even by reflecting on my writing at your own pace. When you’re ready for deeper connection, I’ll be here.

How do we meet (online/in-person)?

Most sessions take place online, making it simple no matter where you are. When possible, I also offer in-person sessions or group gatherings. The goal is always the same: a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.
